About Mike McGovern

Born in Philadelphia, spent four years in the US Navy and have been in the Information Technology (IT/Computer) industry since 1983. I have been a car enthusiast from the time I was five years old and still remember walking to school and day dreaming about all of the cool cars on the road. I live in San Diego with my wife and two kids. I enjoy tennis, surfing, cars and have a passion for BMWs.

Tesla Car Club of America (Tesla CCA) was created to cultivate and promote passion for the Tesla marque and its uniquely sporty emissions free electric vehicles.  The organization will inspire “enthusiasm” for the brand and camaraderie among the owners via social gatherings, website message boards/forums, technology events, driving events and a monthly magazine called the GIGAWATT.
